| 2011 Rules Contest Rules
Welcome to Eagle!
Upon arrival, check in at the registration booth, to get your hospitality packet and your assigned area in the park. You may set up any time after 7:00 AM on July 22nd and you cannot not tear down prior to the awards ceremony at 9:30 Friday evening. Judging will take place at 7:00 pm and serving to the public will begin at 7:30. Your area will need to be cleaned up by 10:30 Friday evening.
Competition Meat Inspection: Competition meat inspection will be upon your arrival and set up at your designated spot in the park. Uncooked meat must be kept below 40 degrees. A cooler with ice is okay. Cooked food must be kept about 140 degrees.

Guidelines:
Each team will consist of a chief cook and as many as 3 assistants. Each team will provide a cooking device to be exclusively used by that team within its contest space.
Contestants must provide all needed equipment and supplies. No electricity will be available in the park.
Pits, Cookers, Props, Trailers, may not exceed the space allowed for each contestant. We ask that all other vehicles be parked outside the fenced area.
Fires must be of wood, wood pellets, charcoal, gas or electricity. No deep frying.
You may supply your own generator, if electricity is needed.
No open pits or holes are permitted. Fires may not be built on the ground.
It is the responsibility of the contestants to see that the contest area is kept clean ALL FIRES MUST BE PUT OUT and all equipment removed from the site. It is imperative your clean up is thorough. Burn barrels will be available upon request. We will also have trash pick up at the end of the award ceremony if needed.
Because our event is in the community park, you will need to abide by some general rules in order to stay qualified in this event excessive use of alcoholic beverages , Use of controlled substances , Foul, abusive, or unacceptable language ,Excessive noise generated from your area will not be allowed.
Our local grocery store Lou's which is located on main street, and just east of the park is within walking distance from the contest will be open on Friday night until 7p.m. if you forgot any of your special secret ingredients . Ice will also be available for purchase in the park.
