Eagle Vision Inc is a Non Profit Organization that was established over 20 years ago by local citizens of Eagle, Nebraska. The mission of the organization is to promote and encourage growth in the community, focusing on children, families, and the elderly. We raise awareness of our community, and strive to increase development and tourism in Eagle, Nebraska.
Through our efforts we have been able to provide new park, pool equipment, purchasing of flags for the community, funding for the new basketball courts in the community park, and other events such as Waverly Scholarships, Easter in the Park, Santa in the Community, Sponsorships for Alvo/Eagle Rec, Garage Sales, and various other events held in our community.
We are proud to announce our 2nd Eagle Days and Barbeque held in 2009 in Eagle Nebraska brought in over 850 people to our community for the 2 day event. We are striving to make this years Eagle Days BBQ and Blues Festival even bigger and better.
We are excited to announce that this year we are again partnering with the Kansas City Barbeque Association to make this a sanctioned barbeque event. Last year we had over 21 contestants. We are hoping 2010 will bring over 30 contestants. New to this year will also be an Amateurs BBQ Cook-Off on Friday Night, including celebrity judging. Also new for 2010, we are having live music kicking off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
This is a major fund raising activity for Eagle Vision Inc. and we are seeking sponsorship involvement, participation, and contributions from businesses, and individuals to get involved in the event.
