Triple Crown Event
Eagle Days BBQ and Blues Festival is the 2nd stop for the Triple Crown Event this year. The first event will be the Nebraska State BBQ in Springfield, NE. This event will be held at the Sarpy County Fairgrounds on June 11 and 12.

The final stop will be the American Royal Greater Omaha BBQ Society's 18th Annual Original Nebraska State BBQ Contest in LaPlatte, Nebraska. This event is being held on August 20 and 21.

Once the GOBS contest is completed, we will tabulate the total scores, of those contestants who entered all three contests, and divide it by 3. The team with the highest average score will receive a grand prize of $750.00. You don't have to finish 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at all of the contests to win this final prize money. You do have to enter and compete in all 3 events.
